Kim is the Chief Impact Officer at the Woodland Centers and the Principal Consultant at K. Madsen Consulting. She has a master’s degree in Adult Education, is a Certified Gallup Strengths Coach, Certified Psychological Safety trainer, Intercultural Development Inventory Qualified Assessor, and has over 20 years of experience in fundraising, development, community engagement, event management, and leadership training in both for-profit and non-profit organizations.

Kim Snyder

Kim is the founder of Excelsior Bay Group and has 25 years of fundraising experience within the Twin Cities and greater Minnesota philanthropic communities. She received her Master of Arts in Public Policy from the Humphrey Institute at the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities. Over her career, Kim has worked in development operations of all sizes and at various stages of maturity. She has advised organizations in the areas of philanthropy, strategy, and governance across Minnesota since early 2007.

Kate has over 17 years of experience in human resources and is the Chief People Officer at the Woodland Centers. She has spent many years working in HR in the manufacturing industry. She received her B.A. in Management from the University of Sioux Falls and her MBA from the University of Phoenix. She is also currently working on completing her MBA in Healthcare Administration.
